Brian Poile leaves Nashville Predators after 16 seasons

Brian Poile, assistant general manager of the Nashville Predators, is departing the organization after 16 years. His exit follows the recent appointment of Chris MacFarland as the new president of hockey operations and general manager. Poile joined the Predators in 2010 and held various roles, including director of hockey operations before becoming assistant GM in 2018. MacFarland thanked Poile for his contributions and emphasized the significance of this change, as a Poile had been part of the franchise since its inception in 1997. The team plans to fill Poile's position soon, and on the same day, Rob Blake was named executive vice president of hockey operations.
