Briante Weber records 13 appearances for the Charlotte Hornets in 2016-17

Former Virginia Commonwealth University point guard Briante Weber appeared in 13 games for the Charlotte Hornets during the 2016-2017 NBA season. Weber became the fifth player in franchise history to wear the No. 0 jersey, joining previous players such as Bismack Biyombo and Larry Hughes. During his tenure in Charlotte, he averaged 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals across 12.2 minutes per game. The stint with the Hornets was part of a three-year NBA career that saw Weber play for five different teams. Following his departure from the NBA and G-League after the 2018-2019 season, Weber moved to international competition. He currently plays for Karsiyaka Basket in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
