Brighton & Hove Albion signs Jaouen Hadjam from Young Boys

Brighton & Hove Albion has confirmed the signing of Algerian left-back Jaouen Hadjam from Swiss champions Young Boys. The 23-year-old has joined the Premier League club on a five-year contract valued at an undisclosed fee. Hadjam made a total of 98 appearances for Young Boys after transferring from Nantes in 2024. He previously represented France at youth level but switched allegiance to Algeria in 2023. Hadjam participated in the FIFA World Cup 2026, playing in three matches for Algeria. Brighton recently began their league campaign with a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa.
