Brighton and Stuttgart negotiate transfer deal for midfielder Chema Andrés

Brighton & Hove Albion have initiated talks with VfB Stuttgart regarding the potential transfer of Chema Andrés before the close of the summer window. With limited time remaining, the status of a potential agreement between the clubs remains uncertain. The 21-year-old midfielder, who joined Stuttgart from Real Madrid Castilla for €3 million last year, scored three goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances. Despite competition from club captain Atakan Karazor, the player maintained a consistent role in manager Sebastian Hoeneß’s rotation. While Real Madrid retains a buyback clause valued at €15 million, the club is not expected to exercise that option this year. The midfielder currently holds a contract with Stuttgart that extends through 2030.
