Brighton and Hove Albion has announced that Jason Ayto has left his position as sporting director after just nine months. Ayto joined the club following a tenure at Arsenal, where he had previously served as chief scout and interim sporting director. Brighton chairman Tony Bloom expressed gratitude for Ayto’s contributions and wished him well. The club is promoting existing technical director Mike Cave to take over Ayto’s responsibilities. Ayto's time at Brighton included efforts to secure a deal for Martin Zubimendi, though the lack of signings in January disappointed some supporters.
