Brighton fields five players on inaugural all-state flag football team

Brighton received recognition for its strong performance in flag football with five players selected for the inaugural Michigan all-state flag football team. Senior quarterback Emma Adamczyk and junior safety/wide receiver Rory Chiles earned first-team honors. Adamczyk achieved a passing completion rate of 73%, throwing for over 2,000 yards and 34 touchdowns. Chiles excelled on both offense and defense, contributing to Brighton's impressive defensive record. Additionally, sophomore linebacker Nadia El-Alayli made the second team, while Sarah Langley and Jillian Weaver received honorable mentions. Brighton finished the season with a strong record, losing only to Gibraltar Carlson in the state quarterfinals.
