Brighton makes £45m bid for Spurs defender Luka Vuskovic

Brighton has submitted an improved offer of £45m, including add-ons, to Tottenham Hotspur for centre-back Luka Vuskovic. Currently at the World Cup with Croatia, Vuskovic is looking for a permanent move after spending last season on loan at Hamburg. His prospects at Spurs look limited as Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and new signing Marcos Senesi occupy top spots in the centre-back rotation. Tottenham recently added Van Hecke from Brighton, further complicating Vuskovic's situation. Officials from both clubs are expected to discuss the offer in light of Vuskovic's desire for regular playing time.
