Brighton rejects Liverpool's £50M bid for Yankuba Minteh ahead of new season
Summary

Brighton and Hove Albion has reportedly turned down a £50M offer from Liverpool for winger Yankuba Minteh three days before the start of the Premier League season. Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes aims to add attacking options after the departure of Mohamed Salah, but efforts to bring in players from Paris Saint-Germain have stalled. Minteh, who is 22 years old, joined Brighton from Newcastle in 2024 and has emerged as an alternative target for Liverpool as they seek to bolster their squad ahead of the new campaign.
