Brighton’s pre-season camp has moved from Evian-les-Bains, France, to Austria due to unusable pitches damaged by helicopter landings during the recent G7 summit. Initially scheduled to train from July 23 to August 1, the club discovered the issue upon arrival. The friendly against Annecy has been canceled and replaced with an in-house match, while the upcoming game against Strasbourg is set for a different venue. The first leg of their Conference League play-offs is on August 20, with the Premier League season beginning against Aston Villa on August 23.
