Brighton submits £30 million bid for Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic

Brighton has made a £30 million offer for Tottenham's 19-year-old defender Luka Vuskovic. The Croatian has yet to play for Spurs in the senior squad since joining from Hajduk Split in 2023 but had a successful loan at Hamburg last season, making 30 appearances and earning a spot in Croatia's national team for the World Cup. Brighton's move for Vuskovic comes as they look to strengthen their defense, having already signed Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi. Spurs aim to rebuild after a challenging 2025-26 season that nearly saw them relegated. Brighton is also negotiating the potential sale of defender Jan Paul van Hecke to Tottenham, with two previous bids rejected.
