Brigid Duffy leads Maryland Charm to women's lacrosse pro title

Brigid Duffy scored two goals in the first quarter as the Maryland Charm secured the inaugural Women's Lacrosse League championship with a 16-13 victory over the California Palms on Saturday in Philadelphia. Duffy's performance adds to her impressive year, which includes leading Team USA to a world title and setting numerous records at Army. Throughout the short four-game regular season, Duffy finished among the top players in points and assists. After winning the championship, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the league's first season. Duffy will continue her lacrosse career while starting her military service soon.
