Brisbane Broncos sign Richard Penisini and Wilson De Courcey for 2027

The Brisbane Broncos have confirmed the signings of Richard Penisini from the Parramatta Eels and Wilson De Courcey from the Newcastle Knights ahead of the 2027 season. Penisini, a fringe outside back, joins on a development deal while De Courcey, who debuted in 2026, will be part of the top 30 squad for two seasons. Broncos general manager Troy Thomson praised De Courcey’s performance in the NSW Cup, where he scored 18 tries, and highlighted Penisini's potential as he returns to full fitness. Both players are expected to contribute to the Broncos' depth in the outside backs for the upcoming season.
