British bronco rider Ella Woolley moves to Texas for training

Ella Woolley, a 19-year-old horse rider, is relocating from Derbyshire, UK, to Texas to pursue her ranch bronc riding aspirations. Woolley has been learning to ride bucking horses since January and aims to compete in rodeo competitions, building on her recent success with a debut score of 58. She trained at Gipsy Horses Ranch in Belgium and is mentored by Ilona Bercx, an experienced competitor in the Women’s Ranch Bronc World Championships. Woolley plans to continue her education at Texas A&M University while participating in rodeos, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the world championship. She will fly to Texas in August.
