A crucial false start penalty during a critical 4th-and-2 play hindered the Chiefs’ final drive, contributing to their defeat. Brittany Mahomes expressed her frustration with the officiating on social media, calling the penalty the 'weakest call' she had ever seen. Despite leading 24-13 going into the fourth quarter, the Chiefs surrendered 15 unanswered points and failed to convert on a goal-line opportunity. The team will look to address offensive issues and could benefit from the return of wide receiver Rashee Rice, who had a touchdown in this game.
