"For my money, the only match that mattered at today’s (Sun., May 31, 2026) WWE Clash in Italy premium live event in Turin was the Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi rematch from WrestleMania 42. The former retired after he was defeated in Las Vegas but found himself so distraught over the ass kicking he took that evening he decided to return to try to get his lick back. I have been outspoken about my desire to see WWE book Femi as strongly as possible, vanquishing Lesnar at every turn to send him into retirement proper, even if that means doing a trilogy that sees the young upstart sweep the series. That’s not how it ended up going down, but they sure did book Femi strong regardless. The match started explosively, with Lesnar blitzing the big man to catch him off guard. He hit one F-5, then a second, then a third, and wouldn’t you know it he even hit a fourth F-5. Then, a shock — Femi actually managed to kick out when Brock went for the pinfall. The next shock came when Lesnar immediately jumped the kimura and Femi managed to get himself out of it by standing up with Lesnar still locked on and slamming him to the mat. That’s a lot of beef to rearrange in a hostile situation! When he finally broke away, Femi missed a chokeslam and Brock hit yet another F-5, the fifth of the match. Yet again, Femi managed to kick out. When he went for number six, Oba was ready, finally hitting the chokeslam he was trying for earlier. They ended up on the outside and it was there that Lesnar hit number six, this time through the Italian announcer’s table. He looked down and out. He stood up at the count of 7, hardly selling the effects anymore outside of a bum arm, and then tossed Brock around like he was nothing. Brock escaped the Fall from Grace by jumping over and hit F-5 number SEVEN. Mercifully, that kept Femi down for the three count. BROCK LESNAR BEATS OBA FEMI!!! 😱 THE BEAST HAS TAMED THE RULER!! pic.twitter.com/Iz2izxKnK4 — WWE (@WWE) May 31, 2026 This absolutely deserves a third and final chapter at SummerSlam. Right?!?
