Brogan Austin and Phil Young help USA win gold at 100K World Championships

Brogan Austin and Phil Young contributed to Team USA's gold medal at the International Association of Ultrarunners 100-kilometer World Championships held in Ames, Spain, on September 20. Austin finished eighth overall, clocking in at 6:27:50, while Young placed 28th in 6:54:07. The victory saw Team USA secure the title with a combined time of 19 hours, 17 minutes, 18 seconds, narrowly beating Great Britain by 44 seconds. College cross country results include Noelle Steines winning the Bradley Intercollegiate and Grace Steinmetz triumphing at the Viking Invitational.
