Broncos' defense ranked third in NFL ahead of 2026 season

The Denver Broncos' defense is projected to be the third-best in the NFL going into the 2026 season, according to a Fox Sports report. This follows a strong performance in 2025, with the unit retaining most of its starters. Key departures include defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers and safety P.J. Locke, but the team has drafted Tyler Onyedim as a potential replacement. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph has emphasized the need for improvement as the Broncos aim to build on their defensive success from last year.
