Broncos hire Jon Clarke from Manly as head of performance for 2027

The Brisbane Broncos have appointed Jon Clarke as their head of performance for the 2027 season, adding him to the coaching staff. Clarke, who has spent the last three seasons with the Manly Sea Eagles, is expected to enhance the Broncos' football department under head coach Michael Maguire. Clarke brings significant experience from rugby league and union, having worked with various teams including the British & Irish Lions. He is set to create a new preseason training program as the Broncos aim to recover from a troublesome title defense in 2026. Current Broncos' executive general manager Troy Thomson expressed enthusiasm for Clarke's contributions to the club.
