Broncos hold out 14 players in preseason opener against Falcons

In their first preseason game, the Denver Broncos did not have 14 players available, including quarterback Bo Nix and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. The Broncos secured a 27-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Nix, recovering from a fractured ankle, is expected to return for upcoming home preseason games against the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. Other notable absentees included running back J.K.
