The Denver Broncos have placed defensive lineman Matt Henningsen on injured reserve following a torn Achilles injury sustained during practice this week. This marks the second consecutive year that Henningsen has suffered an Achilles tear in August, after playing in 34 games over the previous two seasons. Along with Henningsen's IR designation, the team released defensive back Sam Webb and signed defensive back Ricardo Hallman and wide receiver Kyrese Rowan. Hallman was undrafted after a successful college career at Wisconsin, starting his final 38 games there.
