Broncos players dispute Tom Brady's view on practice squad mindset

Summary

Tom Brady's remarks on NFL practice squad players sparked disagreement among current and former Denver Broncos. In a recent podcast interview, Brady claimed many players are satisfied remaining on practice squads and unprepared when called up to active rosters. Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey refuted this, stating he has never encountered a player content with just being on the practice squad. Former quarterback Ben DiNucci echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that practice squad athletes strive for elevation to active rosters for opportunities to compete. The Broncos will finalize their roster, including practice squad selections, in the coming months ahead of the 2026 season.
