Broncos sign OLB Ron Stone, cut WR Hakeem Butler

The Broncos have agreed to terms with outside linebacker Ron Stone Jr., according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. In a corresponding move, they have released wide receiver Hakeem Butler. Stone, 26, previously played with the Columbus Aviators in the UFL, where he recorded 5.5 sacks. He also had a stint with the Michigan Panthers during the spring of 2025. Before joining the UFL, Stone was an undrafted free agent signed by the Raiders in 2024 but was waived due to injury designations before the season started.
