The Denver Broncos have waived outside linebacker Ron Stone Jr., four days after signing him. Stone was brought in to enhance the team's depth ahead of their preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings. He is the son of Rob Stone Sr., a two-time Super Bowl champion and All-Pro lineman. Following his release, Stone will go on the NFL's waiver wire, and if he clears, he could be eligible for the Broncos' practice squad.
