Brookfield East and Catholic Memorial claim WIAA boys tennis doubles titles

Brookfield East’s Jake Zheng and Ryker Koch won the WIAA Division 1 doubles championship, while Catholic Memorial's Finn Milleman and Brady Latus secured the Division 2 title on June 6 at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison. Milleman and Latus triumphed in a close match against Plymouth's Gianni Frausto and Cavin Baltus, coming back from a 5-1 deficit in the second set. Zheng and Koch, after losing to their opponents in a prior sectional match, took the finals in straight sets, showing a strong improvement. This victory marks Milleman’s third consecutive doubles title, making him one of the few to achieve this milestone in WIAA history, while Brookfield East's title prevents Menomonee Falls from securing its first doubles championship.
