Brooklyn DeLeye leads Kentucky volleyball to victory over Penn State

Kentucky volleyball defeated Penn State 3-1 during the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge at Wrigley Field on Sunday night. Senior outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye anchored the Wildcats' offensive effort by recording 21 kills. DeLeye also contributed defensively with ten digs, finishing second on the team in that category. Following this performance, the Southeastern Conference named DeLeye as the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. The event served as the first meeting between these programs in the newly established Challenge format held in a baseball venue. Kentucky secured the win as part of the neutral-site competition designed to highlight the conferences.
