Underclassmen shined in the LSWA Class C All-State baseball and softball selections, as Brooklyn Hebert from Northside Christian and Rylan Davis from Claiborne Christian were named MVPs. Hebert, an eighth grader, helped lead Northside Christian to the state championship with a.486 batting average. Davis, a sophomore, contributed to Claiborne Christian’s state title run with a 3.40 ERA and.353 batting average. Both players had multiple teammates recognized in the selections.
