Brooks Rogowski, a standout from Novi Detroit Catholic Central, was selected at No. 33 overall by the Vancouver Canucks on June 27 in the 2026 NHL Draft. The 18-year-old, who plays for the Oshawa Generals in the OHL, has been recognized as one of the top forward prospects. He previously won the MHSAA Division 1 title with Catholic Central and will begin his college hockey career at Michigan State during the 2027-28 season. Rogowski joins fellow Michigander Chase Reid, who was taken by the Seattle Kraken with the No. 7 overall pick in this draft.
