Browns face QB challenges, Raiders consider potential starter changes
Summary

As NFL preseason continues, the Cleveland Browns grapple with quarterback uncertainty ahead of their opener against the Jaguars in three weeks. Deshaun Watson's performance has not instilled confidence, drawing boos from fans while Shedeur Sanders shows potential. Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Raiders are evaluating Fernando Mendoza's viability as a starter, although Kirk Cousins remains the current presumptive option. Mendoza's recent practice time has raised questions about his role, despite an uneven showing in the last game. Injuries to Ashton Jeanty could impact the Raiders' running plans as Mike Washington Jr. impresses in his rookie outings, making him a contender for more carries if Jeanty is sidelined.
