Browns fan concerns rise over potential Dante Moore selection in 2027 draft

Summary

The Cleveland Browns, currently starting Deshaun Watson at quarterback, may look to draft Dante Moore in 2027, according to ESPN’s mock draft. This speculation comes as fans express anxiety about the potential for a repeat of the troubling Deshaun Watson trade, which cost the team three first-round picks and a fully guaranteed contract. Despite Moore's impressive stats from his last season at Oregon, where he threw for 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns, fans question the timing of such discussions before the 2026 season even begins. Analysts and fans alike are divided, with some perceiving media-driven narratives around quarterback battles as premature and misguided.
