Browns guard Teven Jenkins misses Thursday practice with a back injury

Cleveland Browns offensive guard Teven Jenkins did not participate in Thursday’s practice due to a back injury. Jenkins, who started four games last season and appeared in every contest, was limited during Wednesday’s session before leaving early. His status remains uncertain for the upcoming Sunday season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Jenkins is unable to suit up for the game, the team is expected to utilize rookie Austin Barber in his place. The rest of the Browns' injury report saw no changes from the previous day. Center Parker Brailsford remains limited with a thumb injury, while defensive tackle Maliek Collins is limited by a quad issue. Linebacker Carson Schwesinger logged his second consecutive full practice as he works through a shoulder injury.
