Browns kicker Andre Szmyt earns AFC special teams player of the week honors

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt has been named the AFC special teams player of the week following his performance in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Szmyt scored 11 points, making all three field goals and both extra points in the Browns' 23-19 victory. His successful kicks included two from 34 yards and a 50-yarder. The accolade marks Szmyt's second career weekly award, having previously received the same honor in Week 3 of 2025. The Browns are set to host the Carolina Panthers on September 27.
