Browns name Deshaun Watson starting QB for Week 1 over Shedeur Sanders

Summary

The Cleveland Browns have announced Deshaun Watson as their starting quarterback for Week 1, choosing him over Shedeur Sanders. This decision has raised eyebrows among experts and fans, especially after Watson's disappointing performance against the Buffalo Bills. Watson completed just five of 12 passes for 35 yards and one interception in that game. Former NFL player Dan Orlovsky expressed sympathy for Browns fans, citing Watson's lackluster showing and the team's long history of quarterback struggles. The Browns have had numerous starting quarterbacks since the 1999 NFL Draft, leading to ongoing fan frustration.
