Browns place Maliek Collins on PUP list ahead of training camp

Summary

The Cleveland Browns announced that defensive tackle Maliek Collins will start training camp on the physically unable to perform list. Collins, who suffered a season-ending quadriceps injury in December, is not expected to participate in practices until he receives medical clearance. The Browns begin veteran training camp on July 29. This season, Collins recorded a career-high 6.5 sacks, providing leadership for a primarily young defensive line following the trade of star pass-rusher Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams in June.
