Browns prefer Deshaun Watson over Shedeur Sanders in quarterback competition

Summary

The Cleveland Browns have shifted focus to Deshaun Watson in their ongoing quarterback competition against Shedeur Sanders. Coach Todd Monken opted to have Watson practice with the first-team offense instead of Sanders, who was initially scheduled for those reps. Shannon Sharpe critiqued the decision, questioning the timing and rationale behind it. NFL insider Ian Rapoport indicated that Watson has an advantage due to his familiarity with the Browns' offensive system.
