Browns QB Deshaun Watson placed in concussion protocol; Sanders may start

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been placed in concussion protocol ahead of the game against the New Orleans Saints on November 8. Watson reported concussion symptoms after a helmet-to-helmet hit during the first quarter of last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Initially, he passed evaluations conducted both during and after the game, but he later reported symptoms. If Watson is unable to play, backup Shedeur Sanders is expected to start. Sanders briefly replaced Watson in the Week 8 game following the incident.
