Browns' Tyson Campbell inactive for home opener against Panthers

The Cleveland Browns will be without cornerback Tyson Campbell for their home opener against the Carolina Panthers on September 27 due to hip and ankle injuries. Campbell, who was limited in practice, will be replaced by Mekhi Blackmon in the starting lineup. Although safety Grant Delpit is also nursing an injury, he has indicated that he plans to play. Campbell previously dealt with similar issues, having missed parts of the Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In total, five players are inactive for the game including guard Teven Jenkins and quarterback Taylen Green.
