The Boston Bruins made their final selection in the 2026 NHL Draft, picking defenseman Cullen McCrate from the Fargo Force with the 216th overall pick. McCrate, who stands just under 6-foot-2 and weighs nearly 200 pounds, recorded 10 goals and 20 assists in 61 games during the 2025-26 season in the United States Hockey League. He is set to play at Michigan State University next season and is the only American selected by the Bruins during the draft. General manager Don Sweeney commented that most of this year's draft class is expected to attend Boston's Development Camp next week.
