Bruno Fernandes struggles early as Man Utd faces poor start in EPL
Summary

Bruno Fernandes, captain of Manchester United, is experiencing a decline in form this season following his PFA Player of the Year recognition for 2025-26. Despite having scored three goals and one assist so far, all against Ipswich in their only win, he has created only one 'big chance' this season. Manchester United has had their worst start to a league campaign in 40 years, collecting just six points from their first six games. Manager Michael Carrick stated Fernandes is managing a minor fitness issue but sees no cause for alarm. The team is preparing for upcoming matches with expectations for improvement.
