Bryce Harper selects Dino Ebel as Home Run Derby pitcher

Bryce Harper has chosen Dino Ebel to pitch for him in the 2026 Home Run Derby, scheduled at Citizens Bank Park during the MLB All-Star Game. Ebel, the third-base coach for the Dodgers, previously pitched for Kyle Schwarber during last year's All-Star Game, where Schwarber excelled. Harper's participation in the Derby was uncertain due to his father's absence as a pitcher. He expressed that he had received offers from several former teammates before finalizing Ebel as his choice. Harper will compete against several notable players in the event.
