Bryce Lyons overcomes injury to graduate and pursue physical therapy

Bryce Lyons, a senior at CE King High School, faced a severe knee injury during a game against Goose Creek Memorial on October 2, 2025, ending his dreams of an NFL career. Instead of giving up, Lyons found purpose in helping others recover from injuries. He underwent multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, ultimately graduating and planning to study kinesiology at the University of Houston. He aims to become a physical therapist, inspired by his recovery journey and supported by Texas Texans wide receiver Tank Dell, who shared a similar injury experience. Lyons was also awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the Texans.
