Buccaneers sign Barika Kpeenu and Robert McDaniel ahead of preseason game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made roster changes ahead of their second preseason game, signing running back Barika Kpeenu and safety Robert McDaniel. Kpeenu, an undrafted free agent from North Dakota State, had a standout college season, rushing for 1,005 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns. McDaniel joins the Buccaneers after spending last season on the Washington Commanders' practice squad. Both players fill the roster spots of running back Kadarius Calloway and safety Marcus Banks, who were waived due to injuries and will revert to injured reserve if unclaimed.
