Bucks seek more from Celtics in unrealized Giannis trade talks

The Boston Celtics were close to finalizing a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks, but the deal fell through. The Bucks reportedly requested higher compensation, including young players Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman, in addition to unprotected first-round picks. The Celtics offered Jaylen Brown and two first-round picks, which was deemed insufficient. Following the failed negotiations, the Miami Heat are set to acquire Antetokounmpo in a separate deal. The Celtics, holding the No. 27 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, may consider trade options moving forward.
