Bucky Irving earns high ranking for 2024 rookie running back performance

Pro Football Focus recently named the 2024 rookie season of Bucky Irving as one of the best for a running back since 2020. He finished the season with 1,122 rushing yards and eight touchdowns across 207 carries. Despite his strong debut, injuries to his foot and shoulder restricted his participation to 10 games during the 2025 season, which saw his overall grade fall to 67.8. The running back enters his third NFL season with questions regarding his ability to return to his previous form. His rookie success remains a standout mark for the organization, as he led all first-year players with 76 forced missed tackles during his debut campaign.
