Buffalo Bills release Jalen Virgil, seek new wide receivers

The Buffalo Bills have released wide receiver Jalen Virgil with a non-football injury designation as of July 30, 2026. Virgil was unable to pass his physical to start training camp and had not joined the team. With another receiver, Tyrell Shavers, on the Active/PUP list, the Bills are actively searching for replacements. They conducted tryouts for five players, including wide receivers KhaDarel Hodge, Dante Pettis, and Isaiah Winstead, along with defensive backs Bryce Hall and D.J. Miller.
