Buffalo Bills release wide receiver Dante Pettis before roster deadline

During his brief tenure, he recorded a 16-yard reception in a preseason victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers and caught a two-point conversion pass from Shane Buechele. The veteran receiver is now entering his ninth NFL season and seeking his sixth team since entering the league as a second-round pick in 2018.
