Buffalo Bills secure 29-14 victory over Panthers in preseason opener

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Carolina Panthers 29-14 in their preseason opener on August 15 at Highmark Stadium. Coach Joe Brady secured his first victory with strong performances from quarterback Josh Allen and the defense. Allen completed 6 of 8 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns, while the defense started impressively, allowing only nine plays in Carolina's first three series. The Bills dominated early but the Panthers managed a drive capped by a touchdown pass from Kenny Pickett just before halftime, marking their first score of the game. DJ Moore left the game with a leg issue but was reported as ‘good to go’ by Brady postgame.
