Buffalo Sabres consider Nikita Kucherov trade amid interest in Larkin

Summary

The Buffalo Sabres are exploring potential trades as they aim to strengthen their roster. After missing out on Connor Hellebuyck, the Sabres have also shown interest in Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin. However, Larkin is not on the Sabres' non-trade list. Meanwhile, Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning has reportedly requested a trade. Despite Kucherov's fit with the Sabres' needs and possible assets for a trade, a report indicated that he may not consider Buffalo as an option given his no-trade clause. The Sabres must adapt their strategy if they wish to secure athletes without such clauses in today's NHL.
