Bulldogs confirm four player exits as seven remain off-contract for 2027

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs confirmed that Josh Curran, Lipoi Hopoi, Jonathan Su'a, and Bronson Xerri will depart the club at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Curran and Su'a are set to join the Perth Bears, while Xerri has signed a three-year deal with the Melbourne Storm and Hopoi is reportedly moving to the Canberra Raiders. Meanwhile, winger Marcelo Montoya has retired mid-season to transition into a coaching and wellbeing role within the club. Seven other players including Kade Dykes, Samuel Hughes, Zyon Maiu'u, Kurt Mann, Jack Todd, Jake Turpin, and Patrick Young currently remain without contracts for the 2027 season. The Bulldogs intend to farewell the departing quartet during their final home game at Accor Stadium against the Brisbane Broncos on Thursday night.
