Bulldogs extend contract of rising hooker Kaawyn Patterson until 2029

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have signed emerging hooker Kaawyn Patterson to a multi-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2029. Patterson, 19, has shown significant promise through the Bulldogs' pathways, being named SG Ball Player of the Year and serving as captain during a successful finals run. He also contributed to the Jersey Flegg side, which reached the Grand Final. General manager of football Phil Gould praised Patterson’s potential for NRL play in the coming years, noting his leadership skills. The Bulldogs are set to begin preparations for next season, with Patterson expected to train with the NRL squad starting in November.
