Bulls consider trade for former top-three pick Scoot Henderson

Summary

The Chicago Bulls may be looking to acquire Scoot Henderson from the Portland Trail Blazers as they head into the 2026-2027 NBA season. The Bulls are in a rebuilding phase with a new coaching staff, making this an opportune time for experimentation. A proposal suggests the Bulls could offer guards Tre Jones and Isaac Okoro, along with a pair of future second-round picks. Henderson, a fourth-year player and former top-three draft pick, could fit well within Chicago's timeline, especially with new head coach Tiago Splitter having previously coached him. The deal presents a chance for the Bulls to build for the future while still evaluating Henderson’s performance on an expiring contract.
